In new street additions, Puttur built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Chaibasa fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Pleasanton built increasingly connected streets over time. For the full network, Puttur became progressively more disconnected, while Chaibasa fluctuated in connectivity and Pleasanton became progressively more connected. Notably, Puttur had a more connected network than Pleasanton in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
