The level of street-network sprawl in new development in Ukraine rose steadily. To get a sense of how street development has changed in Ukraine, we can consider three of its most populous regions: Kiev City, Donets'k and Dnipropetrovs'k. Disconnectivity in the most populous cities in Ukraine follow the same country trend.

The largest city in Ukraine is Kyiv, with a population of 2768800 people. Taking into account the entire (i.e. aggregate) street network in Kyiv as of 2020, the overall level of street-network sprawl is 2.49, which is relatively well-connected. The level of street-network sprawl in new development in Kyiv rose steadily.

As of 2020, the city with the most disconnected street network in Ukraine is Brianka with an SNDi of 4.29, which is sprawly. Conversely, the most connected city is Sievierodonetsk with an SNDi of 1.15, which is very well-connected.
