What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Denpasar and Basra both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Aligarh fluctuated in street-construction patterns. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Aligarh and Basra have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
