While Shandong and China both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Shiheng's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease. Most recently, Shiheng's incremental SNDi rose from 6.99 to 8.2 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Boulogne-sur-Mer and Tunchang County both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Shiheng fluctuated in street-construction patterns. For the full network, Shiheng grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Boulogne-sur-Mer became progressively more disconnected and Tunchang County grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved.
