What about similarly populated cities?
- Jos, Nigeria
- Saratov, Russia
- Belagavi, India
- Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil
- Kermanshah, Iran
- Udaipur, India
In new street additions, Jos and Sao Jose dos Campos both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Jingzhou built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Notably, Jingzhou had a more sprawly network than Sao Jose dos Campos in 1975, but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
