The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Iguatu plotted against Ceará and Brazil. The SNDi of new construction in Iguatu peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Ceará which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Brazil which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Iguatu's incremental SNDi fell from 2.06 to 2.05 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Iguatu ranked 3rd out of 10 cities in Ceará and 97th out of 365 in Brazil as of 2020.

In new street additions, Nalhati and Rovenky both fluctuated in street-construction patterns, while Iguatu built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Iguatu and Rovenky both became progressively more disconnected, while Nalhati fluctuated in connectivity.
