In new street additions, Solwezi built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Kottarakkara fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Chongming built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Solwezi and Kottarakkara both became progressively more disconnected, while Chongming grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Solwezi and Chongming have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
