The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Hội An plotted against Quảng Nam and Vietnam. The SNDi of new construction in Hội An followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Quảng Nam which was at its lowest in 1991-2005 and Vietnam which rose steadily. In new street additions, Hội An and Daming both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Michika built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Hội An grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Daming fluctuated in connectivity and Michika became progressively more disconnected. Hội An and Michika have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
