The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Đà Lạt plotted against Lâm Đồng and Vietnam. The SNDi of new construction in Đà Lạt followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Lâm Đồng which was at its lowest in 1991-2005 and Vietnam which rose steadily. Most recently, Đà Lạt's incremental SNDi rose from 5.41 to 8.0 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Đà Lạt ranked 3rd out of 3 cities in Lâm Đồng and 108th out of 126 in Vietnam as of 2020.

In new street additions, Đà Lạt and Banjarbaru both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Lixian built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Đà Lạt and Banjarbaru have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
