The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Trung Hà plotted against Hà Nội and Vietnam. The SNDi of new construction in Trung Hà followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Hà Nội which peaked in 1991-2005 and Vietnam which rose steadily. Most recently, Trung Hà's incremental SNDi fell from 6.1 to 6.06 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Trung Hà ranked 8th out of 9 cities in Hà Nội and 114th out of 126 in Vietnam as of 2020.

While Wuxuan and Akşehir both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, Trung Hà fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. For the full network, Trung Hà became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Wuxuan grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Akşehir grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved.
