The SNDi of new construction in Quốc Oai fell steadily, compared to Hà Nội which peaked in 1991-2005 and Vietnam which rose steadily. In new street additions, Quốc Oai built increasingly connected streets over time, while Torquay built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Gapan built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Torquay and Gapan both became progressively more disconnected, while Quốc Oai became progressively more connected. Notably, Quốc Oai had a more sprawly network than Gapan in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
