While Chalchuapa and 전평동 both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Vĩnh Trụ built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns in new street additions. For the full network, Vĩnh Trụ became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards, while Chalchuapa became progressively more disconnected and 전평동 fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Vĩnh Trụ had a more sprawly network than 전평동 in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
