The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with An Khê plotted against Gia Lai and Vietnam. The SNDi of new construction in An Khê followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Gia Lai which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Vietnam which rose steadily. Most recently, An Khê's incremental SNDi rose from 4.01 to 4.71 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, An Khê ranked 3rd out of 3 cities in Gia Lai and 66th out of 126 in Vietnam as of 2020.

In new street additions, An Khê fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Gros Morne built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Pyoksong built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, An Khê fluctuated in connectivity, while Gros Morne became progressively more disconnected and Pyoksong became progressively more connected. Notably, An Khê had a more sprawly network than Gros Morne in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
