The SNDi of new construction in Hồng Ngự peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Đồng Tháp which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Vietnam which rose steadily. In new street additions, Hồng Ngự built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Yucheng fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Madinat Lab'ūs built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Hồng Ngự grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Yucheng became progressively more disconnected and Madinat Lab'ūs became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Hồng Ngự and Yucheng have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
