What about similarly populated cities?
While Guasave and Leuven both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Villa del Rosario built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Villa del Rosario and Leuven both became progressively more disconnected, while Guasave fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Villa del Rosario had a more connected network than Leuven in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
