The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Charallave plotted against Miranda and Venezuela. The SNDi of new construction in Charallave was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Miranda which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Venezuela which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Charallave's incremental SNDi rose from 6.21 to 7.04 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Charallave built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Parhati built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Phalodi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Charallave became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Parhati became progressively more disconnected and Phalodi fluctuated in connectivity. Charallave and Phalodi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
