The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Uzun plotted against Surxondaryo and Uzbekistan. While Surxondaryo and Uzbekistan both rose steadily, Uzun's new street additions rose steadily. Most recently, Uzun's incremental SNDi rose from 6.99 to 7.67 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Uzun ranked 5th out of 8 cities in Surxondaryo and 66th out of 72 in Uzbekistan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Uzun built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Viên An built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Qebchaq fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Uzun became progressively more disconnected, while Viên An became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Qebchaq fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Uzun had a more connected network than Viên An in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
