The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Qoqand plotted against Farg'ona and Uzbekistan. The SNDi of new construction in Qoqand was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Farg'ona which rose steadily and Uzbekistan which rose steadily. Most recently, Qoqand's incremental SNDi rose from 3.79 to 4.69 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Qoqand ranked 6th out of 10 cities in Farg'ona and 30th out of 72 in Uzbekistan as of 2020.

While Hezhou and Samalut both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Qoqand built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Hezhou and Samalut both became progressively more disconnected, while Qoqand became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Qoqand and Hezhou have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
