In new street additions, Kampala built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Varanasi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Jinan built increasingly connected streets over time. For the full network, Kampala and Varanasi both became progressively more disconnected, while Jinan became progressively more connected. Kampala and Jinan have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
