The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Mityana plotted against Mubende and Uganda. The SNDi of new construction in Mityana followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Mubende which was at its lowest in 1976-1990 and Uganda which was at its lowest in 1976-1990. Most recently, Mityana's incremental SNDi rose from 2.98 to 5.43 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Mityana ranked 1st out of 2 cities in Mubende and 13th out of 25 in Uganda as of 2020.
