The SNDi of new construction in Dashoguz peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Daşoguz which rose steadily and Turkmenistan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Dashoguz's incremental SNDi fell from 3.86 to 3.62 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Dashoguz built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Dourados built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Koyilandy built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Dashoguz and Dourados both became progressively more disconnected, while Koyilandy became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards.
