In new street additions, Kars built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Rahui built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Shangyou fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Kars grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Rahui became progressively more connected and Shangyou became progressively more disconnected. Kars and Rahui have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
