The SNDi of new construction in Nizip peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Gaziantep which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Turkey which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Nizip built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Ciego de Ávila fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Al Hasahisa built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Nizip and Ciego de Ávila have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
