The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Yaşamkent plotted against Ankara and Turkey. The SNDi of new construction in Yaşamkent followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Ankara which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Turkey which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Yaşamkent's incremental SNDi fell from 3.01 to 2.5 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Yaşamkent ranked 8th out of 8 cities in Ankara and 135th out of 174 in Turkey as of 2020.

In new street additions, Yaşamkent fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Santo Domingo Tehuantepec fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Baraki Rijan built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Yaşamkent became progressively more connected, while Santo Domingo Tehuantepec grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Baraki Rijan became progressively more disconnected. Notably, Yaşamkent had a more sprawly network than Santo Domingo Tehuantepec in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
