The SNDi of new construction in Polatlı rose steadily, compared to Ankara which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Turkey which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Polatlı's incremental SNDi rose from 2.05 to 2.33 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Polatlı ranked 2nd out of 8 cities in Ankara and 78th out of 174 in Turkey as of 2020.

What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Polatlı built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Muaratewe built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Jinli built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Polatlı and Muaratewe both became progressively more disconnected, while Jinli grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved.
