In new street additions, Kairouan built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Shencottai built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Jand fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Kairouan and Shencottai both became progressively more disconnected, while Jand became progressively more connected. Kairouan and Jand have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
