The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Sokodé plotted against Centre and Togo. The SNDi of new construction in Sokodé rose steadily, compared to Centre which rose steadily and Togo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Sokodé's incremental SNDi rose from 3.49 to 3.96 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. While Sagaing and City of Loja both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Sokodé built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Sokodé and City of Loja both became progressively more disconnected, while Sagaing fluctuated in connectivity. Sokodé and City of Loja have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
