In new street additions, Mtwara and Naj al Shaykh Hasan Abu Sabir both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Koh-i-Sayad built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Mtwara and Naj al Shaykh Hasan Abu Sabir both became progressively more disconnected, while Koh-i-Sayad became progressively more connected. Mtwara and Koh-i-Sayad have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
