The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Qamishli plotted against Al Ḥasakah and Syria. The SNDi of new construction in Qamishli rose steadily, compared to Al Ḥasakah which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Syria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Qamishli's incremental SNDi rose from 2.85 to 2.91 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Qamishli ranked 1st out of 4 cities in Al Ḥasakah and 21st out of 39 in Syria as of 2020.
