The SNDi of new construction in Trincomalee followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, while Sri Lanka rose steadily. In new street additions, Trincomalee fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Jingang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Atebubu built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Trincomalee and Atebubu both became progressively more disconnected, while Jingang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Trincomalee and Jingang have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
