The SNDi of new construction in Ibiza followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Islas Baleares which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Spain which peaked in 1976-1990. Most recently, Ibiza's incremental SNDi rose from 2.02 to 2.77 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Ibiza ranked 2nd out of 2 cities in Islas Baleares and 56th out of 85 in Spain as of 2020.

In new street additions, Ibiza fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Ak-Bulun built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Comè built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Ibiza fluctuated in connectivity, while Ak-Bulun became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Comè became progressively more disconnected. Ibiza and Ak-Bulun have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
