The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Torrevieja plotted against Comunidad Valenciana and Spain. The SNDi of new construction in Torrevieja followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Comunidad Valenciana which peaked in 1976-1990 and Spain which peaked in 1976-1990. Most recently, Torrevieja's incremental SNDi rose from 1.67 to 1.82 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Torrevieja ranked 1st out of 8 cities in Comunidad Valenciana and 5th out of 85 in Spain as of 2020.

In new street additions, Torrevieja and Pagar Alam both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Sitarganj built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Torrevieja and Sitarganj both became progressively more disconnected, while Pagar Alam fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Torrevieja had a more sprawly network than Sitarganj in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
