The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Tarragona plotted against Cataluña and Spain. The SNDi of new construction in Tarragona rose steadily, compared to Cataluña which rose steadily and Spain which peaked in 1976-1990. Most recently, Tarragona's incremental SNDi rose from 2.84 to 3.44 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Tarragona ranked 13th out of 15 cities in Cataluña and 63rd out of 85 in Spain as of 2020.

In new street additions, Tarragona and Karangwareng both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Doba built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Tarragona and Karangwareng both became progressively more disconnected, while Doba grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Notably, Tarragona had a more connected network than Doba in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
