Almeria, Parauapebas, and Huaiyang all built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved in new street construction. For the full network, Almeria and Parauapebas both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Huaiyang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Notably, Almeria had a more sprawly network than Parauapebas in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
