While Sanshui and Kaiyuan both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Seweding built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Sanshui and Kaiyuan both fluctuated in connectivity, while Seweding became progressively more disconnected. Seweding and Kaiyuan have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
