Adado in context
The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Adado plotted against Galguduud and Somalia. The SNDi of new construction in Adado followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Galguduud which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Somalia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Adado's incremental SNDi fell from 1.2 to 1.19 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Adado ranked 1st out of 3 cities in Galguduud and 6th out of 39 in Somalia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Adado fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Mopeia built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Ea T'Ling built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Adado and Ea T'Ling both became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Mopeia became progressively more disconnected. Adado and Mopeia have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
