The SNDi of new construction in Žilina followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Žilinský which rose steadily and Slovakia which rose steadily. Most recently, Žilina's incremental SNDi rose from 2.69 to 3.46 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Žilina fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Talavera built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Panji built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Žilina and Talavera both became progressively more disconnected, while Panji became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Žilina and Talavera have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
