The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bignona plotted against Ziguinchor and Senegal. While Ziguinchor and Senegal both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Bignona's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bignona's incremental SNDi rose from 1.3 to 1.63 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bignona ranked 1st out of 2 cities in Ziguinchor and 5th out of 25 in Senegal as of 2020.

In new street additions, Bignona fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Novouralsk built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Yeji built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Bignona and Novouralsk both became progressively more disconnected, while Yeji became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Bignona and Novouralsk have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
