The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Al Reheli plotted against Makkah and Saudi Arabia. The SNDi of new construction in Al Reheli was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Makkah which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Saudi Arabia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Al Reheli's incremental SNDi rose from 3.02 to 3.05 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Al Reheli ranked 3rd out of 9 cities in Makkah and 27th out of 44 in Saudi Arabia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Al Reheli and Nandagang Management Area both built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Kunjah fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Al Reheli fluctuated in connectivity, while Kunjah fluctuated in connectivity and Nandagang Management Area became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Notably, Al Reheli had a more sprawly network than Kunjah in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
