In new street additions, Khamis Mushayt and Langfang both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Yuyao fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Khamis Mushayt and Langfang both became progressively more disconnected, while Yuyao fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Khamis Mushayt had a more sprawly network than Langfang in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
