In new street additions, Novy Urengoy fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Shibata fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Luxi built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Novy Urengoy became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Shibata became progressively more disconnected and Luxi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Notably, Novy Urengoy had a more connected network than Luxi in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
