The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bugulma plotted against Tatarstan and Russia. The SNDi of new construction in Bugulma followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Tatarstan which rose steadily and Russia which rose steadily. Most recently, Bugulma's incremental SNDi rose from 2.65 to 3.57 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bugulma ranked 7th out of 8 cities in Tatarstan and 157th out of 252 in Russia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Bugulma fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Dharamshala built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Kirodimal Nagar built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Bugulma and Dharamshala both became progressively more disconnected, while Kirodimal Nagar became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Bugulma and Dharamshala have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
