All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Zelenograd's incremental SNDi rose from 3.13 to 4.18 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Zelenograd ranked 12th out of 17 cities in Moskva and 138th out of 252 in Russia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Zelenograd and Qaraziadin both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Masaurhi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Zelenograd and Masaurhi both became progressively more disconnected, while Qaraziadin became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Zelenograd and Qaraziadin have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
