All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Tuapse's incremental SNDi rose from 6.42 to 10.72 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Tuapse ranked 15th out of 15 cities in Krasnodar and 250th out of 252 in Russia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Tuapse built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Bafatá fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Narita built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Tuapse and Narita both became progressively more disconnected, while Bafatá fluctuated in connectivity. Tuapse and Narita have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
