All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Sochi's incremental SNDi rose from 5.36 to 6.13 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Sochi ranked 14th out of 15 cities in Krasnodar and 230th out of 252 in Russia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Sochi built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Kot Addu built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Krishnagiri built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Sochi and Kot Addu both became progressively more disconnected, while Krishnagiri became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Sochi and Krishnagiri have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
