The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Sunzha plotted against Ingush and Russia. The SNDi of new construction in Sunzha followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Ingush which rose steadily and Russia which rose steadily. Most recently, Sunzha's incremental SNDi rose from 3.37 to 3.8 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Sunzha and Udhagamandalam both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kengtung built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Sunzha became progressively more disconnected, while Kengtung grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Udhagamandalam fluctuated in connectivity. Sunzha and Kengtung have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
