The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kizilyurt plotted against Dagestan and Russia. The SNDi of new construction in Kizilyurt fell steadily, compared to Dagestan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Russia which rose steadily. Most recently, Kizilyurt's incremental SNDi fell from 4.48 to 4.01 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Kizilyurt built increasingly connected streets over time, while Okugbe built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Shangpan built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Looking at the full network, Okugbe and Shangpan both became progressively more disconnected, while Kizilyurt became progressively more connected. Notably, Kizilyurt had a more sprawly network than Shangpan in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
