The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Dema plotted against Bashkortostan and Russia. The SNDi of new construction in Dema followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Bashkortostan which rose steadily and Russia which rose steadily. For the full network, Dema fluctuated in connectivity, while Vilanova i la Geltrú became progressively more disconnected and Baghpat Road became progressively more connected. Dema and Baghpat Road have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
