The SNDi of new construction in Maykop followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Adygey which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Russia which rose steadily. Most recently, Maykop's incremental SNDi rose from 3.21 to 4.03 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Maykop ranked 1st out of 2 cities in Adygey and 76th out of 252 in Russia as of 2020.

Maykop, Barrie, and Panjgur all fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street construction. For the full network, Maykop and Barrie both became progressively more disconnected, while Panjgur fluctuated in connectivity.
