What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Saint-Denis built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Salamanca fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Arua fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Saint-Denis and Salamanca both became progressively more disconnected, while Arua became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Saint-Denis and Salamanca have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
